Democracy and Civic Engagement-related events may be submitted via the Colorado State University Events Calendar. 

  • Select ‘Submit an Event’
  • Mark the Event Type as ‘Democracy & Civic Engagement.’
  • Once approved by the University Calendar Coordinator, the event will automatically be added to the Thematic Year calendar listings.

Conversations to Inspire with Keynote address by Donna Brazile
April 30, 2024, 4-6 p.m.
Lory Student Center Main Ballroom

Keynote address presented by American political strategist, former campaign manager, and current chair of the Fulbright scholars program, Donna Brazile. Following the keynote, President Amy Parsons will moderate a panel of CSU leaders to discuss the role of higher education in promoting democracy.

The fourth annual Gather- Conversations to Inspire event, presented by Women and Philanthropy, is an exploration of the Thematic Year of Democracy through the female lens.
